Injury to Rodgers leaves fantasy players on edge
It the injury that sent every Packers fan and most fantasy players into a state of panic.
Yes, Aaron Rodgers will miss four to six weeks with a broken collarbone.
That a pretty tough timetable to swallow for fantasy owners considering the fantasy playoffs kick off in five weeks, but you likely need Rodgers playing to make it to the promised land.
This also affects the bevy of top flight fantasy receivers the Packers have. Jordy Nelson and James Jones see their value take a hit, while Jarrett Boykin should be an afterthought.
The only receiver who may benefit is Andrew Quarless, who saw the second most targets from Seneca Wallace on Monday night.
With Wallace leading the Pack, you can bet that the team will look to run the ball more. That means Eddie Lacy could become a fantasy beast down the stretch while James Starks will see more carries, too.
While Wallace isn the best fantasy option out there, it should be noted that he has some pretty good matchups in the next few weeks. Deca Durabolin Blood Pressure If you in need of a spot start for an injury or a bye week, you can do worse.
Mike Shanahan is at it again. It has been a while since "Anaboliset Aineet" the days when Shanahanegins perpetually screwed over fantasy owners hoping for big days from their running backs. But in the past four games, Alfred Morris has lost out on six TDs. First it was Roy Helu vulturing three TDs against the Bears, then last Sunday unknown fullback Darrel Young scored thrice, including the overtime game winner. It not so terrible, considering Morris has been raking in large amounts of yardage, but those TDs would have been really nice.
We like to say that it surprising to see Darren McFadden sidelined for another game, but that wouldn be realistic. The fragile Raiders back re injured his hamstring in the same and will miss this week game against the Giants. Perpetual handcuff Rashad Jennings steps in after having a big game in relief of Run DMC last week. It likely that McFadden misses multiple weeks with this strain, so grab Jennings if Gensci Jintropin you can as a replacement.
Staying with the Raiders, there no need to worry about Terrelle Pryor getting pulled from last week loss to the Eagles. While there was speculation that he injured his knee, it was more for precautionary reasons and also that the game was out of hand, leaving no reason to risk him. He has practised all week, leaving no doubt for his game in New York.
Vikings eight end Kyle Rudolph will miss a month with a broken foot. He has been a low end TE1 at best this season, making him easy to discard. In his absence, former Seahawk John Carlson led the Vikes in every receiving category last night and looks to be "Anabolika Definition" a good replacement for the next few weeks.
Arian Foster must have had fantasy owners slamming their heads on their keyboards last week after playing just one series before leaving with a back injury. He was questionable going into the game and many probably plugged him in upon hearing he was good to go. Ben Tate, himself injured and nursing four broken ribs, stepped in and ran the Anavar For Sale Philippines ball 22 times for 81 yards. He be a viable, but low end, starter again this week against the Cardinals and, while listed as questionable, is unlikely to miss the game.
It getting to that time of the fantasy calendar when guys 4-chlorodehydromethyltestosterone are going to start coming back from early season injuries. Two guys to keep your eye on are NFC West receivers Percy Harvin of the Seahawks and Michael Crabtree of the 49ers. Both are back to practice and are capable of being their teams top receiving option. Harvin is the better guy to stash as he closer to returning. Crabtree is also coming back from an Achilles injury, which is harder to regain explosiveness from.
Kenbrell Thompkins hasn exactly had the type of season many envisioned from him after a stellar pre season. Last week he was a healthy scratch, though coach Bill Belichick insists the Pats Anavar Jaw haven lost confidence in the rookie. It is time to drop Thompkins though, as he can be relied upon for every week production.
PICK UP OF THE WEEK
Tim Wright, WR/TE, TB
He capable of lining up at two positions both on the field and in fantasy, which is of great benefit. He has quickly bonded with rookie QB Mike Glennon and trails only Vincent Jackson in every receiving category for the Bucs. He has scored in two straight and will continue to see a nice workload going forward.
DROP OF THE WEEK
Jarrett Boykin, WR, GB
Many loved Boykin because of Aaron Rodgers ability to make any receiver look like a star. But with Rodgers out and the rest of the Packers receiving corps getting healthy, Boykin will be in tough to get enough targets to have any fantasy value.
His best case scenario with Seneca Wallace at QB is to catch a bomb for a TD, but even that is unlikely.
WAIVER 'D' OF THE WEEKThe Titans defence has been above average so far this season, ranking in the top 10 for total points. But many dropped them while on the bye last week. Well, grab them quickly as they get to host the putrid Jaguars this week. Jacksonville have allowed the third most points to Buy Viagra Berlin opposing defences and have given up double digits in seven of their eight games.
SIT OR STARTHad a stellar game last time in Atlanta during playoffs and Falcons are only weaker now.
